2. DEFINITIONS OF MOTIVATION
  • Motivation is defined an internal state that causes arousal into action, pushing us in different directions, keeping us engaged in our activities (Ormrod, 2009)
  • The definition of motivation could be described as goal directed behavior (motivationfordreamers.com).
  • Intrinsic motivation refers to motivation that comes from inside an individual rather than from any external or outside rewards, such as money or grades (  About.com Guide)
